Plaza Antigua presentsโฆ
Dรญa de los Muertos
๐ Day of the Dead
at Plaza Antigua ๐
Dรญa de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a centuries-old Mexican tradition that honors the lives of loved ones who have passed away. Rooted in Indigenous rituals and blended with Catholic influences, the celebration is a time of remembrance, joy, and community.
Families create colorful altars (ofrendas) decorated with flowers, candles, photos, and favorite foods of those being remembered. Far from being somber, itโs a vibrant cultural experience filled with music, food, and art, reminding us to celebrate life while honoring the past.
This November 1st, Plaza Antigua invites you, your friends, and your family to come share in this beautiful tradition, enjoy authentic flavors, and experience the music and spirit of the holiday together. Check Facebook for more info.
